El próximo domingo 27 de octubre se llevarán a cabo las elecciones nacionales, instancia en la cual podrá ser elegido el nuevo presidente de los uruguayos, pero en donde se definirá también el nuevo Parlamento.
Para elegir a los representantes en la Cámara de Diputados, en Tacuarembó se presentaron un total de 49 listas, 21 de las cuales pertenecen al Frente Amplio. En segundo lugar con más listas están la Asamblea Popular y el Partido Nacional con seis listas cada uno.
